The Goal of Article Marketing

The goal of article marketing to get top ten search engine rankings for keywords, to generate traffic in your niche market and to take that traffic and monetize its in a number of different ways.

1. Select Optimal Keywords for your website

2. Write articles around those keywords.

3. Submit those articles to the correct article directories in the correct manner to get optimal results.

4. Optimize your current webpages or around your newly selected optimal keywords.

5. Great new webpages optimized around your newly selected keywords.

6. Structure, new webpage so that it gains maximum page rank and search engine rankings.

7. Submit your website to an optimal this to Web directories.

8. Create an opt in e-mail lists from your website.

9. Decide it on a product to sell.

You probably noticed in this list did not mention about optimizing your webpage until after article writing.

There are several reasons for this.:

1. Writing articles as the foundation for greater long-term search engine traffic.

2. Once you have started submitting articles in will take several days for the back links to begin to occur during that period of time, you can go and do work on your website but if you to a website work. First, you simply delay your back links.

3. On page optimization only accounts for approximately 10% of the search engine results off page. That is inbound links or back links account for approximately 90%.

Keywords and Their Role in Traffic Generation:

The very first thing you should do is choose a set of keywords that will generate the traffic you need to your website. As a general rule, if you are on the top 10 search results for a given keyword, you should receive an average of 5% to 30% (depending on your actual rank) of the number of monthly searches, in a unique visitors to your website. For example, if you choose a keyword that gets 10,000 searches per month, and you are in the top 10 results for that key word, you should get between 500 and 3000 monthly visitors from that keyword. Obviously, if you are in the number 10 position, you will be the low end of that scale, and if you are in the number one position you will be on the high end of that scale.

For the purpose of conversations on oh want you to assume that number will be about 10%. Equating to possibly a five position on average. Remember some of your keywords will rank higher than others, you may have some in the number 10 spot, some in the number five and some as number one spots. And there are huge difference in traffic in the first or second spots versus all the other spots.

So to make this easy, if your goal is to receive 10,000 new visits each month. About 330 per day than you will need to be in the top 10 results of a set of keywords that has combine total monthly searches value of 100,000. To get 20,000 visitors per month of a set of keywords that has a combined search for I am of 200,000.

The most important thing to me is that when you typed in that keyword or keyword phrase in quotes like this. “Your keyword phrase” into a large search engine like Yahoo or Google. You come up with less than 5000 results, which should mean to you less than 5000 competitors.

Writing article doesn””t have to be a complex just make sure that you use your keyword phase in your articles

Final Thoughts…
The key to being successful with article marketing is to be consistent and persistent make a goal. To submit at least 10 articles a week to five different directories. What you did good at sticking to this goal than up the ante and make it 20 articles a week to five different directories. So forth and so on until you become proficient in submitting articles and generating traffic for your website.
