Free web hosting is getting harder to find in todays internet business service space. I recently secured an interview with the CEO & Founder of one of the top 5000 internet properties in the world. His company has offered FREE unlimited web space and bandwidth for over a decade.

Q: How did you start a web hosting service when you were still in middle school?

A: It was not easy, when I was in middle school in the mid-90s it was hard to post a simple html web page. This was before GEO Cities or any free hosting service.

I started my hosting company by convincing web hosting companies to let my barrow space on their severs. This was not easy to do since I was so young at the time. But, I was able to… and soon I was generating an income. Before I know it I had enough money to buy my own servers.

Q: How did the Free hosting business model help your business.

A: I was able to secure a lot clients very quickly… my company even survived the internet bubble of the late 90s. Some people have been with me since the being going back 12 years or so. My UPS has stood the test of time “FREE Unlimited Web Space & Unlimited Bandwidth” Today I have about 500,000 users or clients and over 7 million web pages on my servers.

Q: How is your business preparing for the future?

A: The internet is changing… web space is cheaper and cheaper every year. The market has changed as well. With blogs and social networks get big share of the traffic… Its getting harder and harder to get traffic to an individual web page. The key is to find a niche and give great customer service.
