Many people have self-directed IRAs, but very few utilize it to its full potential. Did you know you could use the money in your IRA to invoke to invest in on investment opportunities? If you are only getting 8% yield on your current IRA, then you are missing out on tens of thousands of dollars that you go toward your retirement.

If you took $10,000 from your IRA, and invested those fund in a real estate or mortgage note transaction that you are between 16 and 25%. The difference would be between $36,000 and $56,000 more over then the 8% yield you would have recieved.

Plus, since you do the money from your IRA and the proceeds go back and here are a this becomes a tax-free investment. Therefore, allowing your money to use the full power of compound interest, without the hindrance of taxation. No matter how much money you have in your savings, or business account to invest. It”s still not as powerful as using your irate as an investment vehicle.

In most IRA accounts your maximum contribution is $2000 a year. But if you take funds from your IRA and use it in another investment transaction. There is no on the return of proceeds.

That being said, let”s look at another example: let”s say that we took $10,000 from our IRA, and we purchased a mortgage note that was worth $10,000 for a discount at $6,000. And after 60 days, we went to the payer and asks if they would be willing to refinance their mortgage note. In exchange for an extra thousand dollar discount. Instead of yielding 30% on the transaction over time, because we asked the owner to refinance our yield now becomes 632%. From our initial $6,000 investment It yields a $9,000 return. We then could take that money and buy 12,000 are note and repeat the process. And we continue this for six to 12 months, he was see a dramatic increase in your IRA balance.

In order to use your IRA in this fashion, you must use a third-party custodian. The custodian handles all the transactions in and out of your IRA account, ensuring that you will not co-mingle your funds. Which in turn allows you to stay legal within the eyes of the IRS.
