2 Stars Worst Name Pronunciation and Limited Child’’s Image
“Whose Birthday Is It?” Personalized Dora the Explorer DVD
I ordered this product for my niece’’s 2nd Birthday. Despite the fact that the child’’s name pronunciation was provided in simplest way as possible, it was mispronounced. I was very disappointed and shocked. In addition, the child’’s image was very limited and mostly at the end of the DVD. Also, when Dora says her name Dora pauses first then, says the name which does not sound like Dora.. Very BAD!!!! I hope they can correct/fix this problem and remake the DVD for me with the correct pronunciation. My niece will be very happy to hear her name pronounced correctly and most importantly she will pay attention to the DVD.

The product itself was very good; however, it was ordered for a birthday
and was extremely late in being shipped and therefore didn”t get here
until a week and a half after the birthday party whick took away most of
the value of buying it in the first place.
1 Star Not as good as the others
I had previously bought the “Arthur” and “Spiderman” videos for my son and LOVED them. I was extremely disappointed with this one in comparison. In the others, my son’’s picture was shown throughout the entire video. In the Dora video, my daughter is shown briefly in the beginning, and then not until the very end for another brief moment. Plus, they cut off her pigtails and have her in overalls, she looks like a little boy! Don”t waste your money on this one, you”re better off with some of the other ones.

I have only received one of the three that I ordered so far, but am very pleased with it. I assume that the other two will be forthcoming shortly.

I ordered this for my daughter’’s 4th bday and she loved it!!! She was tickled when she heard her name being said by Dora and ecstatic when she saw herself!! She watches it all the time and still laughs and laughs…I would recommend this for young children.
